Our Red Currant bushes were prolific this year. Picked on demand, let us know if you can use any before they start to dry and fall from the bush. Each dry pint weighs approximately ten ounces and yields 2 1/2 cups of de-stemmed berries.

Ever heard of using Green Walnuts? Cooks have used them through the centuries to make chutneys, pickles, liqueurs, and infusions. Green Walnuts are harvested specifically for Nocino or nocello cordial/liqueur in Italy and Vin de Noix “nectar” in France. The aromatic, immature nuts can be pickled then most often served with cheeses and meats or as a condiment.
