All first time visitors are taken on a quick 10-minute orientation when first arrive to be shown how to cut stems, answer your questions and to go over our safety rules.
We have a limited selection of summer annuals this year to pick, but there are still a lot of colorful Zinnias as well as Sunflowers, Dahlias, Amaranth, Cosmos, Black-eye Susan, Blanket flowers and more, plus several rows of perennials to cut from. Walk amoungst the butterflies and bees while exploring our field and create your own beautiful arrangement.
Cut an fill a 32 oz. wide mouth quart canning jar (provided) for a set price. Price: $22.00* (tax included). This includes U-Pick annuals, perennials and any flowers from our Flower Bar that we’ve pre-cut, including many Dahlias to choose from. Bring your own canning jar and receive $2.00 credit, anything smaller than 32 oz. wide mouth will still be charged as if a quart.

Want more flowers than what can fit in a jar? We will walk around the field with you and cut and fill a bucket with your choice of flowers. Flowers are sold by the stem when filling a bucket. Prices range from 25¢ Zinnias to 50¢ Sunflowers to $1.00 Dahlias to $2.00 Hydrangea.
Bring your own buckets or containers, or buy one of ours. Our 2-gallon bucket typically holds $50-$60 worth of blooms depending on how many premium flowers you want, that is about 100 stems.

Guidelines: Sturdy, closed-toe footwear and long pants recommended. A wide brim hat if it’s hot and sunny. We do have chairs under shade trees to sit. Strollers, walkers and wheelchairs discouraged as our paths are unlevel dirt and narrow. Please supervise children at all times; even though our flower field if fenced, we are alongside a busy road. No dogs allowed in flower field. No smoking or vaping. No toilets on premises, please plan accordingly. Bring an Epipen if seriously allergic to bees. We maintain our farm to make it safe for everyone, but there are still inherent risks when visiting a working farm. Farmer’s Pick is protect under Idaho’s Agritourism Promotion Act (read below).

CHAPTER 30
IDAHO AGRITOURISM PROMOTION ACT
6-3003. definitions. As used in this chapter, the term:
(1) “Agritourism activity” means any activity carried out on a farm or ranch that allows members of the general public, for recreational, entertainment or educational purposes, to view or enjoy rural activities including, but not limited to, farming, ranching, historic, cultural, on-site educational programs, recreational farming programs that may include on-site hospitality services, guided and self-guided tours, bed and breakfast accommodations, petting zoos, farm festivals, corn mazes, harvest-your-own operations, hayrides, barn parties, horseback riding, fee fishing and camping. An activity is an agritourism activity whether or not the participant paid to participate in the activity.
(2) “Agritourism professional” means any person who is engaged in the business of providing one (1) or more agritourism activities, whether or not for compensation.
(3) “Inherent risks of agritourism activity” means those dangers or conditions that are an integral part of an agritourism activity including certain hazards, including surface and subsurface conditions, natural conditions of land, vegetation, waters, the behavior of wild or domestic animals and ordinary dangers of structures or equipment ordinarily used in farming and ranching operations. Inherent risks of agritourism activity also include the potential of a participant to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to injury to the participant or others, including failing to follow instructions given by the agritourism professional or failing to exercise reasonable caution while engaging in the agritourism activity.
(4) “Participant” means any person, other than the agritourism professional, who engages in an agritourism activity.
(5) “Person” means an individual, fiduciary, firm, association, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, unit of government or any other group acting as a unit.
*Entry into our field is for paying customers only. Sorry, but you can not “just look around” unattended. We are not a public park nor a botanical garden. Purchase of our U-Pick $22 canning jar, $10 milk bottle, or bucket with $10.00 minimum in cut stems, gains entry into our field for two people. Each additional picking or non-picking member in a group cost an additional $1.00 entry fee, infants and toddlers excluded. A lot of hard work goes into what we do here.
